Portsmouth Little League opening ceremonies were held this morning, and hundreds of parents and players watched as, for the second year, kids from the Challenger Division threw the ceremonial first pitch.

Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors who make this happen. (Thanks for the shirts and the ads! Please patronize those folks!) Odds & ends: Noticed that Attorney Amy Rice sponsored a team this year (yay Rep. Rice!) and our School Committee's Mike Buddemeyer is coaching a team. (Yay, Mike!)
